ENHANCED EVAPORATION FOR OIL AND GAS

Lower Costs, Eliminate Trucking, and Mitigate Flare Gas

Produced water is a byproduct of oil and gas production and the cost of managing it is a significant factor in the overall profitability.  Our system address the major issues the industry faces, right at the well, using the resources available like flare or field gas. This reduces costs and benefits the environment through reduced trucking and flaring.  Although the makeup and volumes of produced water can vary significantly from well to well, consider how addressing these factors could benefit your disposal needs.

TRANSPORTATION

Water is difficult to move long distances and transporting it can considerably drive up costs.  Any solution that can treat water at the well head removes this cost and provides a meaningful benefit to the environment and surrounding community by taking trucks off the road.

AMBIENT CONDITIONS

Water freezes and cold air holds less water that warm air can.  This means that solutions that rely on natural or mechanical evaporation simply do not work in cold temperatures.

SALT CONTENT (TDS)

Produced water is also known as saltwater or brine for a good reason.  In most cases, there is a lot of salt in it.  Increased salt content reduces natural evaporation rates and scales equipment.

POISONOUS AND RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL

Arsenic, Silica, and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) can be found in produced water.  Careful consideration must be given to contain these materials so they are not dispersed around the disposal site by spray or steam.
